4208 is a type of high-grade gear compounding oil made from sulfurized olefin as its dominant ingredient and other additives including extreme-pressure antiwear agent, antirust agent, corrosion inhibitor, boric acid agent etc. This agent enjoys mighty abrasion resistance in extreme pressure, antirust property and oxidation resistance; thus, it is an excellent complex agent for the concoction of gear oil for high-grade vehicle and industrial gear oil. The concoction proportion for GL-5,GL-4 and GL-3 are respectively 4.8%, 2.4% and 1.2%, while those for heavy and medium duty industrial gear oil are respectively 1.8% and 1.6%. |

At the temperature of 65-75, stir intermediate
base or paraffin base oil of various viscosity marks
until it turns even, thereafter, when the temperature
reaches 75-85, add 4208 gear compounding oil at a
certain proportion as per its viscosity mark and mix
them for three hours until they become even and transparent. |
